LOVE WITHOUT ENDING

I’ve been disloyal; I’ve been inconsistent… many times I slip up and fall back to the place I vowed never to return. …my efforts equate to nothing, but empty promises plastered with bogus excuses…it is then that I give up and simply accept that His perfect love for me is without ending.

Time and time again I fall short, but His grace covers my inadequacies… His love for me never changes. His thoughts toward me never waver and His great plans concerning me remain the same. Though I tirelessly strive, there is no work that I can do to earn a love like this… I’m drowning in His mercy, an incomprehensible goodness. There is nothing I can do deserve such love that’s without ending.

TRADED TREASURES

… She used to have child-like dreams and untiring ambition. As far as she knew the sky was the limit.. until it wasn’t.. and her limit became her insecurities…

Like an appetite that can never be satisfied, she became crushed beneath the weight of comparison… Now she compares her treasures to other’s for validation, ultimately trading her best for their approval…

But does the light of a lightning bolt compare to that of the sun or the sun to that of a lamp?… What is yours cannot be compared, therefore pursue your child-like dreams with untiring ambition and let the sky be your limit…you are loved and there is something special you offer this world.

WHAT WILL IT TAKE LITTLE GIRL?

It took for her to understand the beauty in her complexities… The things they criticized and ridiculed she had grown to hide until she realized the things they criticized and ridiculed all made a part of who she was…Her boldness in being authentic, challenged the doubts and insecurities they had in being true to them.

She had a faith that silenced the fears of uncertainty, a fire of boldness evident in her personality… It took for her to unapologetically embrace every part of who she was, flaws and all…

It was then that she gained her power; her identity, something that could never be taken… It took for her to finally claim the legacy that was her last name, she truly was the daughter of a King.

BECOMING

Changing, maturing, becoming… God gently molds her, shaping every deformity into the perfect masterpiece… “it’s time my daughter.” …the more she searches, the more He reveals His goodness to her…

…There is a welcoming presence, God’s presence; it begins to fill a void like never before. There is fulfilment, joy and an abundance of love in His presence. A Creator embracing His creation, a Father receiving His daughter.

She knows she is called and so her posture changes. She talks with certainty but walks in humility and her life showcases discipline… God has called her to be change so she must become comfortable with the uncomfortable… She isn’t becoming better than anyone around her, she is just becoming a better version of herself.
